Suzie Unsworth

I qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2016 and initially worked for a couple of small to medium sized firms prior to joining Rayner Essex in 2018.

Having built on my audit expertise serving clients and corporates during the last few years, my work now tends to focus on leading more complex audits and evaluating clients’ operational controls, processes and practices. In many cases I advise clients and make recommendations, changes and enhancements to their existing policies ensuring that they are compliant and effective.

I enjoy getting to know clients on a personal basis as well as professional and get a real satisfaction in helping clients with their process transformations and audits.

Having been promoted to the position of Supervisor within Rayner Essex, I also play a key role coaching juniors and supporting them in gaining the tools they need to progress in their audit careers.

Outside of work, I love the outdoors (preferably in good weather) and especially enjoy getting away to the mountains. On a more regular basis, I play keyboard, horse ride and swim.
