Corporate Social Responsibility

Serving our Community

Rayner Essex is committed to supporting our community, raising over £100,000 through Golf days for charities such as Rennie Grove Peace Hospice. We also host several lunch events for SportsAid, a charity dedicated to supporting the next generation of British athletes, helping them to become the Olympians of tomorrow and represent Great Britain on the global stage. Additionally, we contribute other causes such as Home Start, which supports parents and their young families to cope during challenging times.

Our employees also actively participate in selecting other local charities that resonate with them each year, continuously exploring ways to serve and support our community.

Furthermore, Rayner Essex actively sponsors local education awards and promote employment opportunities by regularly attending careers fairs at local schools and universities, raising awareness to potential career paths in professional services.

Our firm greatly values our people, nurturing a supportive and inclusive culture that prioritises well-being and personal growth, ensuring we make a positive impact on everyone we serve.

Rayner Essex is on a journey towards sustainability, dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and adopting greener practices that support our people, community, and environment – with the goal of achieving net zero emissions. We have partnered with climate action and carbon reporting specialists NetZeroNow, and worked closely with our staff to assess our carbon footprint. We will soon publish our findings and report, along with our reduction targets for the coming year.

This commitment reinforces our position as a socially responsible organisation, creating value for our people, clients, community, and environment.

Each year, we eagerly host a Golf Challenge that brings together clients and associates from the St Albans community. Participants compete for the top spot, all while raising funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice.
