Since joining Rayner Essex in 2011 I now manage the admin department across both the London and St Albans offices.
Given the nature of accountancy my team have quite a heavy workload and I relish the challenge of making sure that all our clients and internal customers are receiving timely and top quality correspondence.
My team are often the first point of call when visitors or calls come into the business and it’s my responsibility to ensure that we offer the best client experience possible.
Every day is different in my role, one minute I’m stuck into typing letters, then setting up new clients or even making sure health and safety regulations are being followed. Our team is always growing so I often get involved in recruiting and interviewing new members of the administration team.
I’m actually a trained chef so I will occasionally put my baking hat on and bring in cakes for the staff to enjoy which always goes down well.
When I’m not working it’s time for proper relaxation, which for me, is a spa weekend. Apart from that I’m an avid cinema viewer and love listening to music.
