I am a Graduate Audit Trainee in the Audit team at Rayner Essex. My academic journey has been firmly focused on finance, having studied Business Management at undergraduate level before completing a postgraduate degree in Finance and Investment. This background has given me a strong commercial perspective, which I apply when supporting clients and engaging with different areas of their businesses.

My role involves contributing to audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with colleagues at all levels and maintaining regular communication with clients. I am involved in reviewing financial information, supporting audit testing and ensuring each engagement runs smoothly. I enjoy the pace and variety of audit work, particularly the opportunity to build an understanding of how different organisations operate across a wide range of sectors.

I find my work very rewarding and personally fulfilling. I am currently studying towards my ACA qualification and feel well supported through structured training, practical experience and day-to-day guidance from my team.

Outside of work, I have always been passionate about sport. I spent many years playing football for a local team and also competed in basketball at national league level before continuing at university, where our team achieved league success. I continue to follow football and cricket closely, enjoy staying active at the gym and spending time socialising with friends.
