Joe Cliff

My Rayner Essex journey began in 2019 when I joined the firm as a placement student. I subsequently returned as graduate ACA trainee and have gone on to qualify as an ICAEW chartered accountant in the spring of 2024.

My role as supervisor within the audit department includes leading a variety of audit engagements as well as supporting the development needs of new trainees as they start their careers in accountancy. I have been fortunate to build strong relationships with both my clients and coworkers during my time at Rayner Essex and I believe this has been a key factor behind all successful audits I’ve been involved in.

Outside of work you might find me socialising with friends over a meal and a couple of drinks. Having grown up in Uganda I’m fascinated by wildlife and the outdoors, however I’m getting used to spending more time inside these days as it never seems to stop raining!
