Euan Gelling

My current role is Accounting solutions Semi-Senior. I work with several clients on a day to day basis and this mainly involves the preparation of Year End Accounts, Management Accounts and VAT returns. As I’ve now passed my apprenticeship I work closely with other apprentices at Rayner Essex and enjoy passing on my knowledge and experience helping other apprentices and guiding them on their career path.

I work with a number of clients from various industries, getting to know their business, issues and goals. I often work closely with my colleagues on various client projects, ensuring that all client deadlines are met and that the clients’ needs are addressed.

I’ve started my first ACCA exam in January 2024 with view to becoming a fully qualified and chartered Accountant and juggle work, and study at the same time. The practical experience and expertise gained from my peers, enables me to reach new milestones and keeps me motivated to pass my professional qualifications and to become a qualified accountant.

Outside of work I love going to the gym, and enjoy watching football games and other sports, as well as socialising with friends and traveling.
