Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Rayner Essex has a strong sense of duty to the society it serves. As such we have for many years organised distinctive, fun events for our friends and clients that also help raise funds for worthy causes. Events include lunches, golf days and networking events. Our golf days have raised over £50,000 for charities that include the Willow Foundation and Rennie Grove Hospice.
Alongside these regular events Rayner Essex work closely with SportsAid, an organisation which helps the next generation of Olympian and Paralympians by giving them financial support to assist their training. Rayner Essex holds several lunch events throughout the year which often include a practical demonstration of an Olympic sport and talks from high profile sports people. This raises a healthy £10,000 per year for the SportsAid charity.
We are very proud of our link with SportsAid and have over the last two years sponsored three young athletes; rower Lola Anderson, triple jumper Stefan Amokwandoh and disability footballer Emyle Rudder. From the beginning of 2017, we began sponsoring two new upcoming athletes Robert Sakala (Athletics) and Megan Duthart (Rowing), replacing Lola, Stefan and Emyle who have progressed far enough in their respective sports to no longer require support from SportsAid.
We actively support and sponsor local education awards. Through our membership with the City of Expertise we promote employment opportunities by regularly attending career fairs at local schools and universities, raising awareness to potential career paths in the professional services.
