Having worked at Rayner Essex since 2009, my current role as IT Supervisor means I am responsible for the smooth day to day running of the IT department across both our offices. This role has many aspects I enjoy.

Internally, managing the department, making sure our IT infrastructure is running effectively and efficiently, providing one to one IT support to staff, as well as keeping myself informed of the constantly changing IT landscape and making recommendations to the Partnership where appropriate. Externally it is also important for me to build and maintain good business relationships with our IT partners, as having a strong network of people you trust and rely upon to deliver services to the company is key.

Outside of work my main focus is of course my family, my wife and  my 6 year old son. I do enjoy music, and having previously played blues piano in a number of different bands (years ago!) I am encouraging my son to take up an instrument.
