Since 2006, I have been working in the Accounting Solutions department here at Rayner Essex. During this time I have been involved with a wide range of businesses, completing client bookkeeping, management accounts and the preparation of VAT returns. In all that time it’s no surprise that I’ve seen a lot of progression in all the accounting and software packages we implement for clients and I enjoy the challenge of keeping ahead of all the latest developments.

My position as Cloud and Digital Solutions Advisor is a newly developed role as it has been realised that this is a hugely growing area and a specialised approach is necessary to ensure that we can continue to offer the best service to our clients.  As more and more software has become available in the Cloud, with the option to integrate apps with accounting software to increase efficiencies becoming not just more readily available, but also now somewhat expected.

My experience has enabled me to offer support to both staff at RE, as well as to clients that are looking to either migrate to new systems, or to better utilise their current systems, all with a view to improving their accounting processes.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, my grown up children and two extremely energetic grandchildren, taking time out to walk my dogs, and relaxing with a good book.  I am also a regular member of the RE quiz team, and enjoy trying out the many restaurants that St Albans has to offer.
