Want a pay rise without any action?

Keep more of your hard earnt cash due to changes in National Insurance

Former Chancellor, Rishi Sunak’s announcement from the Spring Statement in March 2022, takes effect from 6th July 2022, resulting in almost all workers getting a pay rise to help with the cost of living crisis.

The key change is the increase in the primary threshold which applies to employee National Insurance (NI).

Currently employees pay National Insurance on any earnings over £823 per month (£190 per week / £9,880 per year)

From 6th July this will increase to £1,048 per month (£242 per week / £12,570 per year)

The net result is that employees will see an increase in their net pay of up to £29.81 each month.
