Spring Statement 2019

During a particularly turbulent few days in politics the Chancellor, Philip Hammond presented his Spring Statement on Wednesday 13 March 2019.

In his speech he provided an update on the economy and responded to the Office for Budget Responsibility forecasts. In addition, despite uncertainty with Brexit, Mr Hammond laid out plans to address a number of social issues currently facing the country.
