Sanya Qayyum

I joined Rayner Essex in 2018 as a junior accountant and am currently studying ACCA at Supervisor level. Having initially taken the apprenticeship route, it has allowed me to gain over 10 years of work experience in the industry very early on in my career.

I really enjoy the variety of my role, which includes year accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, as well as dealing with any client queries that may arise day to day.

My work within Accounting Solutions is super interesting – each day is always different and this really helps to keep the job engaging. I work closely with clients to help them better understand their accounting queries as well as helping them achieve their goals whilst assisting them with their business requirements. I am also responsible for the supervision of our semi senior and assistant accountants, supporting the management team with their client portfolios and client development work, whilst also managing and further developing my own portfolio of clients.

Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and trying out new restaurants. I also love creating content across my social media platforms and enjoy taking on various collaborations with brands of my interest.
