Rayner Essex Supporting Maltese Audit firm with Specialist Pension work

The St Albans and London based accountancy firm Rayner Essex has been appointed by a Maltese Audit firm to assist in the audit of two large pension schemes based in Malta. The audit work is being undertaken by fellow INPACT International member Busuttil & Micallef which is based in Birkirkara, Malta. Rayner Essex has been requested to support and assist the firm by the local financial authorities in Malta.

The project is being led by Rayner Essex Partner Antony Federer with the support of Executive Manager Gary Davies who are working with David Busuttil and Kurt Said at the headquarters of Busuttil & Micallef in Malta.

Commenting on the project Antony Federer said:

“This is a high profile audit for the Maltese firm covering assets of many millions. We have the necessary experience of undertaking such audit work in the UK and are well placed to support the fellow INPACT members on this international project.”

Rayner Essex is expanding its international work as a result of its links with INPACT members, an increasingly international client base and the recruitment of international tax specialists.
