Rayner Essex host Summer Fayre
On Thursday 7th June Rayner Essex hosted their Summer Fayre at the Rose & Crown in St Michael’s. To help guests get into the theme of the Country Fayre, they were each given a straw hat to wear and were entertained by a troupe of local Morris dancers called Wicket Brood. As the evening wore on guests were encouraged to join in with the dancing – proof of this is in the photos.
The final highlight of the evening for the guests was the opportunity to throw wet sponges at some of the Rayner Essex partners who had voluntarily placed themselves in the wooden stocks!
A big thank you to those who attended and to the staff at the Rose & Crown who looked after us throughout the evening, serving a delicious BBQ and also providing beer in abundance from the 3 Brewers.
