Rayner Essex host Bloomsbury Lunch Club with guests from Modern Pentathlon GB
Rayner Essex hosted the first Bloomsbury Lunch Club of 2017 last Friday at BMA House with SportsAid. They welcomed special guests Sarah Collin, Bradley Sutton and Lydia Rosling from Modern Pentathlon GB who showcased their sport, providing insight into each of the five events.
The athletes then demonstrated one event, shooting, by using replica laser guns to fire lasers at targets across the Princes Room. Guests were then invited to have a go themselves with many proving to be decent shots.
Following the demo, Rayner Essex introduced their new SportsAid sponsored athletes and provided each with a funding of £1,000 to help with their development. The new SportsAid sponsored athletes are; Robert Sakala (Athletics) and Megan Duthart (Rowing).
In the Auction, guests had the opportunity to win tickets to the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena. The Raffle provided another opportunity for guests to win, with a signed Adam Peaty T-shirt and swimming hat the star prize.
Thank you all for coming, see you at the next Rayner Essex Bloomsbury event.
