Marina Trinchese

Tax Director

“I have also worked extensively with international expatriates, having advised numerous UK and non-UK domiciled individuals on the UK taxation consequences when moving all over the world.”

I joined Rayner Essex in 2017 looking for a professional firm with a welcoming, family-feel atmosphere.  I can certainly say Rayner Essex has met and exceeded my expectations!

I trained and qualified in the private client sector, starting my career in a mid-size firm and then moving to a “Big 4” accountancy firm. I advise on all areas of private client tax, and I am a member of the ATT and CIOT.  Having spent a number of years working closely with international expatriates and advising them on the UK tax consequences of moving all over the world, I have a keen interest in advising on non-resident and non-domicile matters. Speaking fluent Italian definitely helped on a number of occasions!

My role has developed to be predominantly advisory whether working directly with clients or supporting the Partners and wider team in some of the technical aspects of more complex tax matters.

In my spare time, I have my hands full with my young son and Labrador dog. I also enjoy travelling, and enjoying long walks with a pub lunch at the end!
