I’m the Marketing Manager here at Rayner Essex and whilst I’m based in St Albans I look after the marketing needs of the whole business so I’m often in the London office or out and about researching venues for our very popular events.
No two days are the same. I juggle managing the website and digital strategy for the business alongside bringing news and content to our audience through advertising, social media and events. I enjoy briefing new designs for our newsletters and advertising and I’m very much the brand guardian.
The team at Rayner Essex are avid networkers and we’re proud of the events we hold which are always well attended. Ranging between lunch clubs, golf days, quiz nights, seminars and seasonal parties, these all take a lot of planning and that’s my responsibility. Rayner Essex has a high sense of moral responsibility, something that makes working here very rewarding. Many of our events involve charities and give us the opportunity to help raise awareness of the fantastic work they do as well as much needed funds. Some of the charities we support on a regular basis are SportsAid, Rennie Grove, RNIB and The OLLIE Foundation.
When I’m not busy working I ‘m always busy doing loads of other things, I can’t sit still! A keen sports enthusiast, I play netball and golf. Netball because I like the pace, teamwork and camaraderie and golf because it’s a test of individual skill and strategy, I play off a handicap of 10 (single figures are elusive to me – maybe one day!) I also enjoy the great outdoors, travel, art, cinema, shopping, cooking and I collect and drink wine!
