Rayner Essex is running our next work experience days in February 2026.

St Albans Office: Tuesday 17th February 2026 9.30-3.30pm. A day of work experience open to Year 12 students for those interested in a career in Accountancy.

London Office: Thursday 19th February 2026 9.30-3.30pm. A day of work experience open to Year 12 students for those interested in a career in Accountancy.

About the day: Students involved in the day will gain a good insight into the world of accountancy including book-keeping and company accounts through to tax and audit. We will also cover the opportunities available via our Apprentice Programs (AAT, ACCA, ICAEW).

What we are looking for?

We are looking for Year 12 students who are highly motivated and have a desire to pursue a career in accounting. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.  We welcome applications from any of our local schools (St Albans or London).

Your application should include ‘Work Experience’ in the subject and include your CV and covering letter outlining your motivation to attend the work experience day. Please state which office you wish to attend. Applicants will be responded to w/c 12th January 2026. Spaces are limited and unfortunately we can only accommodate 12 students at each office.
