We are excited to announce the speaker of our upcoming SportsAid Lunch at the Old Albanian Sports Club, on Friday 12th May 2023, at 12.30pm will be the former Rugby Union player Gareth Chilcott who made his England debut against Australia in 1984 and toured with the British Lions in Australia in 1989.
“Cooch” Chilcott’s amazingly funny rugby anecdotes have been enjoyed at sporting and company dinners all around the country. A natural entertainer (he even does pantomimes!) the former Bath, England and British Lions player has always been recognised as one of the games true characters.
When in full attack, his famed headband and trademark moustache, coupled with his fearsome visage were never calculated to put his opponents at ease. Always giving the game 110 per cent, he gained respect both in this country and abroad and he now gains the same respect for his after-dinner presentations.
His playing achievements include:
- Bath RFC – Over 400 1st Team Games
- 5 League Winners medals
- 7 Cup Winners medals
- South and South West Countries
- England International (1984-90)
- British Lions (89, Australia)
This SportsAid event, is one not to be missed, as I’m sure you will agree that Gareth Chilcott will be a great inspiration, and a great entertainer to us all.
The event is also a fantastic opportunity for you to network, enjoy a relaxed lunch and connect with friends and associates, whilst raising valuable funds for SportsAid to help the next generation of young athletes to achieve their ambitions, who are giving everything to represent their country and who have the passion become remarkable at British Sports. Together at this event, we have an opportunity to help nominated sports athletes, so that they receive the financial support that they need.
A table of 10 will cost you £450, individual tickets can also be purchased @ £45.00 each.
